Popular Fiji resort’s upgrade will see it have seven swimming pools
New two-bedroom family rooms are a crowning feature of an extensive renovation being unveiled at the Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort and Spa.
The popular property, five kilometres from Nadi International Airport, has unveiled 106 of the 324 guestrooms and suites it will include when the renovation is complete mid this year. When fully open, it will include new wings containing two-bedroom family rooms and oceanfront king suites.
The resort will have 10 restaurants and bars – four of those have been opened. Harvest is an all-day restaurant offering daily buffet breakfast and a la carte dinner, Bean Bar Cafe serves coffee, tea and pastries, The Lobby Lounge and the Breeze Swim-Up Bar offer lunches and drinks.
Soon to come are an additional four dining outlets and bars including the 17.78 Whisky Bar, La Bottega Italian restaurant, Latitude Bar and Lounge nightclub and cocktail bar and the Azura Pool Bar and Kitchen. A pan-Asian restaurant and the Urban Sugar Beach Club are expected to open by August.
When fully completed, Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort and Spa will have seven swimming pools. Three pools are now open; one for children, one for families and one reserved for adults.
The resort’s Mareqeti Spa and fitness centre are part of the phase one opening, only in temporary spaces while their new facilities are finalised.
Meanwhile, Singapore’s Crowne Plaza Changi Airport, voted the best airport hotel in the world for several years running by Skytrax , has undergone its own renovation which encompasses the construction of 12 new guest rooms, including suites with direct access to the hotel’s stunning pool deck. They have their own reserved pool seating and views of Jewel and the iconic control tower.
The renovation introduces Allora, an all-day Italian restaurant, a new relocated club lounge and a revitalised fitness centre.
